Sam & Abby have been together for 10 (!) years…yeah, you read that right. 10 years!! They are such good friends of ours & I just adore them, so when Abby texted me a picture of her engagement ring on Christmas Eve…I basically cried. Downtown. On the street. On Christmas Eve. Let’s just say that my sister and boyfriend were hilariously mortified over it…but guys, that’s how exciting & meaningful this engagement is!! They’ve been through so much together over the last few years & they’re still each other’s best friends…& if that doesn’t set the best foundation for a good marriage, I don’t know what does!
Abby & I decided to push their engagement session a few weeks “because by then we’ll definitely have more snow”…helloooo El Niño! We had NO snow by the time their session rolled around, but by some miracle, 24 hours before the shoot it snowed a few inches!! I’ve never been happier to see that fluffy white stuff coming down!! We started out at our fire station where Sam is a lieutenant, & then finished at a friends gorgeous property! They included their adorable puppy Gracie in the photos (I think this may have ranked in her Top 10 best days ever!) & even though I couldn’t feel my toes until a solid 20 minutes after the shoot, we had so. much. fun. Guys, I am so excited for you & can’t wait to celebrate #conger2016!! xoxo
