At the beginning of the month, I had the opportunity to travel to Virginia for a photography conference and ENORMOUS styled shoot at Mount Ida Farm in Charlottesville. If you’re unfamiliar with the term “styled shoot,” it’s when all the elements of a wedding day are pulled together with a couple to model – basically, a fake wedding. They’re SO much fun because there’s no pressure of a wedding day and you can be as creative as you want with shots, while keeping your style true to you. My favorite wedding that we photographed was the Zero Waste wedding – it had tons of dried florals, natural & recycled elements and lots of bohemian flair. Not only did we have an adorable couple, but we also had a photobombing Clydesdale horse that PERFECTLY added a little something to the day!
